Stephen Leicht brings life science sales and management expertise to iAdvantage Board

CARY, NC (October 19, 2005)  —  iAdvantage Software, a leading provider of software solutions for managing development and pre-clinical life science studies, today announced the addition of Stephen Leicht to its Board of Advisors. Leicht is a Territory Manager for IBM, running a global midmarket segment.

"Steve brings a wealth of industry experience and knowledge to our Board," said Dr. Fate Thompson, president and CEO of iAdvantage. "He has an acute understanding of our life science market and its demands, and his counsel will be of great benefit as iAdvantage continues to grow."

Leicht is the former Chairman and CEO of International Telecommunications Distributors, Inc., a company he sold in 2001. He received his MBA from Penn State's Smeal College of Business and his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University. Since joining IBM, Leicht has served as the Life Sciences Territory Sales Executive for North and South Carolina, and he has received numerous sales and leadership awards and territory expansions.

"I look forward to being involved with a company whose technology is poised to transform the development and pre-clinical landscape," said Leicht. "iAdvantage's eStudy™ software dramatically streamlines the study design, data collection and reporting process, overcoming the bottleneck that exists between discovery and clinical."

Leicht previously served on the Board of Directors of the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED). He has also held positions in several other life science organizations including the North Carolina Biosciences Organization, Southeast BIO and the Southeast Life Sciences Association.
